All aspects of Health and Safety remain at the forefront of any work undertaken by CKF with the objective of meeting both prevailing legislation and specific customer demands.

Each phase of the process from design through to final commissioning is subjected to detailed risk assessment and evaluation, regularly supported through in-house test facilities, software and simulation. The company also adopts a standard working practise and policy to ensure full awareness, conformity and accountability for all aspects of H&S.

Machine guarding is designed to meet these exacting standards without compromise and with due consideration to operation, functionality and maintenance of the system. Localised considerations in the design of guard systems include environment, access requirements, operating conditions and proposed footprint. Typical guard features could include interlocked access doors, light guards or roller shutter doors plus associated electrical controls.

‘Systema’ forms the basis of our automated system assessments and CKF retain trained in-house engineers to perform this work.
